Sutton Oaks Academy was founded in 2017 by Victor Zuniga in Association with the 4-H club.  With over 7 years of experience in apartment community coordination and management, Victor Zuniga identified a need for an non-profit organization that would serve the greater San Antonio’s citizens by providing programing that encourages healthy living through workshop series, workshops, conferences and special events.

Sutton Oaks Academy has been growing quickly, with initial programing revolving around the 4H Club, specifically a chapter start at Sutton Oaks Apartments on the Eastside of San Antonio.  Since the founding, Sutton Oaks Academy has expanded programing beyond the 4H club offering after school workshops in association with Urban Strategies and Wheatley Middle School.  In parallel Sutton Oaks Academy has also helped sponsor and support a local futbol team named the Aguilars FC.
Sutton Oaks Academy’s personal currently consist of Victor Zuniga as the Executive Director, Ingrid Last night as the Title Goes Here.  Sutton Oaks Academy also has a consistent set of volunteers that have been able to support the various initiatives.  Currently Sutton Oaks Academy serves the eastside of San Antonio with plans to offer further programing throughout the greater San Antonio Area.  Such potential collaborations include digital literacy programing for the San Antonio Housing Authority.
